ManpowerGroup Logistics Specialist in Round Rock, Texas
Our client, a leading organization in the chemical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join their team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be part of the operations group supporting the logistics department. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Logistics Specialist
Location: Round Rock, TX
What's the Job?
Responsible for accuracy of inventory counts and identifying discrepancies.
Manage receiving processes including matching packing slips to purchase orders.
Issue inventory and consumable items while ensuring timely delivery to end users.
Ensure compliance with DOT and IATA regulations for all shipments.
Participate in documenting processes and identifying areas for improvement.
What's Needed?
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a business discipline or equivalent experience.
Prior experience in a chemical handling, distribution, or material management environment preferred.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
