Position Description

TheRadiation Therapy Program (https://www.health.txst.edu/rtt.html) seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty to teach at Texas State University at the Round Rock campus.

Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based on student demand on a semester-by-semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and departmental/school/program needs.

This posting is for the fall 2024, spring 2025, and summer 2025 semesters.

Required Qualifications

  • Specific educational requirements vary by position, but at minimum, a bachelor’s degree and an earned master’s in a closely related discipline.

  • Possession of Certified Radiologic Technologist credential.

Preferred Qualifications

Terminal degree in the discipline or equivalent relevant professional experience and prior teaching experience are preferred.
