Commander, Navy Installations RETAIL OPS ASSISTANT (GOLF) in Rota, Spain

Summary Monitors operations of a retail store or assigned area, normally during absence of the Golf Manager, and normally at night or on weekends.. Responsibilities Responsible for the issue, receipt, and control of cash. Makes unscheduled cash counts. Prepares reports of significant occurrences during the shift. Assures patrons satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer issues. Inspects and secures facility at the end of the shift. Maintains and enforces security for funds, merchandise, supplies, equipment, and property in accordance with directives and regulations .Must be alert to theft and takes appropriate action. Performs other duties as assigned Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Resumes must include information which demonstrates experience and knowledge, skills, and ability (KSAs) as they relate to this position. Applicants are encouraged to be clear and specific when describing their experience level and KSAs. A qualified candidate must possess: Minimum of one (1) year experience in a Recreation/ Retail business which demonstrate knowledge of retail operations and procedures and/or successful completion of 2 years of study above high school that included at least 12 semester hours in courses related to recreation. Qualified candidates will also be rated and ranked by the following Knowledge: kills and Abilities (KSA's) to determine order of referral: Must have knowledge of business mathematics, cash handling procedures, and merchandise methods. Ability to lead the work of others Ability to communicate both orally and in writing Computer operations and keyboarding skills. Strong customer service skills.
