Job Opportunity: PRN Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Eastern New Mexico Medical Center
Position: PRN (As Needed)

What We’re Looking For:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Licensure: Current New Mexico Physical Therapy Assistant license.
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience: While new graduates are welcome, we prefer candidates with 1-2 years of PTA experience.
Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with computerized documentation, and the ability to build effective relationships with patients and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients achieve their maximum functional potential.
Assist with exercise instruction, patient evaluation, and testing.
Utilize your experience and judgment to plan and implement treatment goals.
Perform a variety of tasks to support the physical therapy team and enhance patient care.
