Job Summary We are seeking a Technical Accounting Manager to lead the preparation of financial statements and provide technical accounting expertise in accordance with US-GAAP and IFRS. This role involves managing complex financial projects, coordinating audits, and optimizing accounting processes, while serving as the primary liaison for auditors and consultants. The ideal candidate will have a CPA certification, over 5 years of experience in accounting or auditing, and a strong proficiency in financial reporting and ERP systems, with a high team orientation and interest in international cooperation. Job Responsibilities Coordination and responsibility for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US-GAAP and IFRS, including footnotes Primary technical accounting in-house expert Performs ad hoc reporting and analysis on a variety of complex accounting issues facing the Company, including the preparation of technical accounting memos (US-GAAP, IFRS) detailing relevant accounting guidance and the Companys policy with respect to such issues Main contact person for the auditors and consultants, project management of the annual financial statements, and coordination of the audit for timely reporting Interdepartmental cooperation in special projects e.g. MandA transaction, project coordination with consultants as well as professional appreciation for the accounting department (e.g. balance treatments, PPA etc.) Works closely with internal and external auditors to design, implement, and document key financial accounting and reporting controls that meet the Companys requirements Analysis, standardization, simplification, and optimization of accounting processes, designs operational procedures, and processes that meet audit standards and improves efficiency Research, interpret and document accounting treatment for new and unusual transactions in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS Other duties as assigned Qualifications 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and or Audit firm CPA certification required Sound knowledge of preparing annual financial statements and very good accounting skills in accordance with US-GAAP and IFRS Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex financial projects Experience in working with SAP or another common ERP system (preferred) High team orientation and interest in international cooperation Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required
