Insight Global Systems Team Lead in Roswell, Georgia

Job Description

One of Insight Globals major clients are hiring for a Systems Team Lead to oversee a team of technicians responsible for the installation of building automation systems in commercial and light industrial facilities. Daily responsibilities include:

 Overseeing a team of 6-8 control system technicians on projects

 Providing training to technicians and developing training material and programs

 Serve as point of escalation for more complex technical issues

 Assists sales and project management teams with development of estimates and proposals

 Allocates technicians to specific projects around the metro Atlanta area

Skills and Requirements

5-10 years of experience leading teams of control system technicians on installation projects

 Strong communication background and ability to interface with customers, GCs, and internal teams

 Experience necessary to resolve complex controls/building automation system installation issues

o Experience programming building automation systems (hands-on technician or system designer experience highly preferred)

o Experience with mechanical components of building automation systems (chillers, boilers, pumps, air handlers)

o Understanding of point-to-point check outs of control systems

o Basic understanding of networking (server connections, device communication)

o Experience with Tridium or Niagara building automation software Degree (Associates or Bachelors) in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering or a related field

 Experience with Metasys Building Automation System

 Experience working for OEM (original equipment manufacturer) null
