Deloitte Technology Strategy Analyst in Rosslyn, Virginia

Work you'll do

The ideal candidate will excel in managing all aspects of project engagement from initiation to delivery, with a specific focus on leading teams, stakeholder communication, integration facilitation, strategic development, and task management. Responsibilities will include:

  • Team Leadership: Direct and inspire teams to achieve objectives and maintain high levels of performance. Handle conflicts effectively and drive team performance to meet client expectations.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular interactions with clients, including the Program Director, Release Manager, Section Branch Chiefs, Engineers, and Project Manager. Keep stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle, within the confines of the program's goals and vision.

  • Integration Facilitation: Facilitate integration activities, such as identifying dependencies and connecting the dots across teams and engagements. Cross-collaboration with other client and Deloitte-led teams to facilitate program initiatives and progress.

  • Strategic Development: Develop and implement strategic initiatives for the client's organization, while incorporating DevOps best practices in the context of greater client projects. Stay abreast of industry trends and apply innovative ideas where applicable.

  • Task Management: Utilize Agile task management, coordinating resources effectively to ensure smooth project execution.

The GPS Strategy offering leads strategic planning & portfolio management and reporting & monitoring workstreams. This includes day-to-day client interaction and leads to the creation of relevant resources and materials (such as strategic plans, roadmaps, etc.) and work products (such as development of performance metrics, tracking dashboards, etc.) in order to successfully implement client vision.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • 1+ year of relevant consulting or industry experience

  • 1+ year of experience building and executing project plans to execute business and technical transformation in a government consulting setting

  • Experience assessing data reporting strategy and making recommendations to clients

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment

  • Travel up to 25% depending on the clients and industries you serve
