Deloitte Technical Lead - Web Application Development in Rosslyn, Virginia

Work you'll do

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.

  • Design and implement scalable and efficient web applications using Angular, Java, and Oracle database.

  • Ensure the quality and performance of the applications through code reviews, testing, and optimization.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.

The Application Modernization and Innovation offering is comprised of experienced professionals who help guide clients through their most complex technology challenges. This can include the delivery of large-scale software applications and integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Our Application Modernization and Innovation offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business. We provide operational value, modernized mission solutions, and enhanced technology innovation.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.

  • Ability to travel 10-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

  • Ability to work onsite at the client location or Rosslyn, VA office 3 days a week.

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering or application development.

  • 4+ years of experience in Angular, Java, and Oracle database development.

  • 2+ years of experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

    Preferred:

  • Java Certification preferred.

  • Oracle Certification preferred.

  • Previous Federal consulting experience preferred.
