Deloitte SQL Development Sr. Analyst (TS Required) in Rosslyn, Virginia

Work you'll do

As a core member of our team, you will work closely with an agile development team supporting our client agency's performance management process

Responsibilities include:

  • Gather, define, document, analyze and implement SQL code.

  • Develop, execute, document, and provide guidance on unit test plans, test data, and test results.

  • Support data warehouse concepts and relational databases.

  • Test, debug, and troubleshoot in a production environment.

  • Hands on technical and functional work with Oracle, PostgreSQL, Informatica, MicroStrategy, custom web applications, and AWS.

  • Support a business intelligence and data analytics team with requirements and functional & technical testing

  • Further develop technical skills through working groups and trainings

The GPS AI & Data Operations offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 1+ years of experience in SQL format/data modeling, testing, and implementing SQL code

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Active TS clearance or higher required

  • Ability to travel 5-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:

  • Master's degree preferred

  • Familiarity and experience with the Intelligence Community

  • Keen interest in learning and using the latest software tools, methods, and technologies to solve real world problem sets vital to national security.

  • Experience in data warehouse concepts, test plan creation, and debugging/troubleshooting in a production environment
