A member of Catholic Health Services of Long Island, St. Francis is consistently recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a national leader for Cardiology & Heart Surgery, as well as for Gastroenterology & GI Surgery Job Details Responsibilities: Assist in the oversight of the Diagnostic area, including staff and equipment, delegate work, ensure safety procedures are followed, and assist in the overall daily function, operation, and throughput of the Radiology/Diagnostic area. Lead technologist will perform routine studies and interventional procedures, create a climate of comfort and safety for patients in the Radiology area, and maintain visualization of patients at all times. Provides and assists in in-service, training, safety and assessing staff Controls patient flow through the department Assists management to assure appropriate staffing Oversees transport tracking system and staff Requirements: NYSDOH Licensed BLS Required ARRT Education: Graduate of approved Radiologic Technology program Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in Radiology Routine diagnostic procedures, portable radiography Salary Range USD $45.00 - USD $60.00 /Yr. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
