Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer in Roseville, California. This position is within the finance industry and will require the selected candidate to work on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns for individuals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws.

• Utilize Ultra Tax software to streamline the tax preparation process.

• Provide tax advice and strategies to clients based on their financial situation.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about current tax laws and regulations.

• Ensure timely submission of tax returns and documents.

• Respond to customer inquiries related to tax preparation.

• Work collaboratively with the finance team to ensure smooth operations during the tax season.

• Manage multiple client accounts, ensuring all tax-related issues are addressed promptly.

• Maintain strict confidentiality of client financial information. Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a Tax Preparer

• Proficiency in using Ultra Tax software

• Comprehensive knowledge of tax regulations and laws

• Exceptional mathematical skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong analytical abilities

• Outstanding organizational skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Proven record of maintaining client confidentiality

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

• Detail oriented certification (e.g., CPA, EA) is a plus

• Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Solid understanding of business and individual taxation procedures

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
