Honeywell Sr. Manager Rotating & Package Equipment in Rosemont, Illinois
As a Sr. Manager Rotating & Package Equipment here at Honeywell UOP, you will play a critical role in leading and managing the Rotating & Package Equipment team. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of rotating and package equipment solutions for our clients. Your expertise in this field and your ability to lead a team will contribute to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.
You will report directly to our Director of Engineering and you'll work out of our Rosemont, IL location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the efficiency, reliability, and performance of various industrial processes through the implementation of advanced rotating and package equipment solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the rotating and package equipment team supporting the execution of basic engineering (Schedule A) and Modular equipment projects
Oversee the design, supply, development, and troubleshooting of rotating and package equipment solutions
Manage performance, career development, and salary administration for direct reports
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of internal and customer projects
Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends in rotating and package equipment

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering, the sciences, technology, or mathematics
Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering technical or leadership roles
WE VALUE
Rotating equipment selection, design, specification, and troubleshooting experience across a range of oil and gas process technologies or products
Package equipment design and supply experience including related ancillary equipment (piping, controls, etc.) for integration of rotating equipment into a process unit design
Experience executing equipment supply projects for the oil and gas industry
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for rotating and package equipment
Experience in leading and managing a team including mentoring and coaching skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience applying HUE, Agile, Six Sigma or similar methodologies and tools in product development, work process improvements, and/or problem resolution efforts
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
