Dialysis Technician
The Dialysis Technician will be responsible for job duties that include but are not limited to the following:
Performs maintenance and operation of dialysis equipment and supplies
Initiate dialysis and care for patients during dialysis treatments
Maintains inventory and a rotation system of reuse supplies
Assists nurses in monitoring dialysis patients and equipment
Instructs patients in self-care to prevent complications between dialysis visits
Maintains accurate patient records
Communicates and transfers patient information to the appropriate personnel
2 positions are available one is Full time and the other is PRN which means as needed.
Job Requirements:
Qualification:
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. LPN or MA preferred. The qualified candidate must be certified as a Dialysis Technician after 18 months of hire to satisfy federal requirements. Must be capable of working in close relationships with other colleagues and patients with chronic care needs.
