Cornucopia Natural Foods Cleaning Specialist in Ronkonkoma, New York
We pride ourselves on a reputation of being a clean and attractive place to shop. We are seeking to hire a Full-Time* Cleaning Specialist to help us continue to carry that reputation. This individual would be responsible for deep cleaning of all parts of the store - the sales floor, offices, stock room, kitchen, bathrooms, etc. - after the employees who utilize these areas initially cleaned up after themselves. No experience is required, but motivation is. We view maintaining a clean store as an important responsibility and want to find someone who can meet our expectations so that we can compensate them well and treat them wonderfully.
*Full-Time is preferred, but we are also open to those who wish to only work part-time.

Sweep and mop floors Surface clean bathrooms Surface clean kitchen Deep clean ovens Empty trash bins & deposit trash into dumpster Remove retail products from refrigerated displays, wipe down & sanitize, then return products to displays Clean glass of display cases Dust all surfaces of sales floor Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies Order cleaning supplies Meet with General Manager on a weekly basis to review the needs of the store About You
Punctual Dependable Team player Good communicator Works well independently Willingness to learn and adhere to workplace systems and proper health codes Ability to work on one's feet for multiple hours straight (required) Ability to utilize brooms, mops, spray cleaners, scrub brushes, and other miscellaneous cleaning tools (required)
