BREWER SCIENCE INC Lab Assistant Co-Op in Rolla, Missouri
Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as a Summer through Fall 2025 Lab Assistant Co-Op (full-time, 35-40 hours per week). This position is open to the University of North Texas students will be located in Rolla, MO.
Summary:
Conducts laboratory analyses, experiments, and processes.
Responsibilities:
Takes ownership of small development sub-projects as assigned.
Designs and conducts experiments, including instrument operation, sample preparation, and performance characterization, under minimal supervision.
Processes data and provides analysis summary and may present results at group meetings.
Creates new testing processes and improves upon current processes.
Knowledge and understanding of safety and housekeeping standards and practiced in daily activities.
Learn and keep familiar with lab procedures.
Responsible for communicating with supervisor and team members, also may be assigned to cross-functional teams.
Credentials and Education:
Must be a student at Junior or higher class level seeking a degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
Must be enrolled at the University of North Texas.
Graduate student in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred.
Must have Chemistry Lab Experience or Wet Chemistry Skills
Completed Analytical Chemistry course preferred.
