ManpowerGroup Automation Technician (PM Shift) in Rocky Mount, North Carolina
Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is seeking an Automation/Equipment Maintenance Technician (PM Shift) to join their team. As an Automation/Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the engineering team supporting the maintenance and repairs of various manufacturing and laboratory equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent mechanical aptitude, knowledge of PLCs, and experience supporting GMP equipment.

What's the Job?
Contribute to the completion of projects, manage own time on agreed targets, develop plans for own projects and leads small project teams.
Responsible for routine and preventive maintenance work to ensure all the equipment and systems work safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Manage change control authoring, actions, and execution.
Modify simple to moderately complex control logic that requires a degree of scientific and/or manufacturing process expertise.
Analyze operational process problems and recommend appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
What's Needed?
Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience; OR an Associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 0+ years of experience.
Familiar with industrial control systems such as DCS, PLCs, SCADAs, computerized systems, Historians, and/or SQL Server.
Experience in troubleshooting issues to root cause and recommending and implementing effective corrective actions.
Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral).
Understanding of programming, and proficiency in at least one language.
