What You'll Do:
As a Housekeeper Supervisor, you and your team create a clean, safe, healing environment throughout the facility. Your leadership and attention to detail will directly impact the quality of life for our team and those in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
Hire, train and lead housekeeping and /or laundry team
Develop and maintain department schedule to ensure adequate staffing
Performs periodic inspections of the building and grounds to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols
Collaborate with other staff members to address resident needs and maintain a safe and clean environment
Ensures all facility policies and procedures are followed and updated as needed
Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies

What You'll Bring:
Qualifications of a Housekeeping Supervisor include:
High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in institutional housekeeping and laundry services
Ability to read, write and comprehend English
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Knowledge of cleaning protocols, infection control, fire prevention and safety measures in long-term care are highly valued but not required; training will be provided
Compassionate and empathetic nature
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
