Maintenance Technicians are vital to any manufacturing operation to ensure that schedules and quality are maintained. You will be responsible for both preventative maintenance and breakdown repair to support a well-established manufacturer in Roane County. This position will be responsible for the oversight of maintenance on the off shifts under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.
salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
shift: Third
work hours: 10 PM - 7 AM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Ability to use and knowledge of both manual and power tools
Perform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical maintenance for all production equipment
Familiarity with blueprints and blueprint reading for preventative maintenance and repair
Welding experience a plus for fabrication and repair
PLC experience preferred
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 75lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
