The Village at Rockville, a leading Continuing Care Retirement Community, is seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist to join our vibrant team. As the first point of contact for our residents, visitors, and staff, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome visitors, ensuring a positive first impression.
Assist visitors in connecting with the appropriate personnel or departments.
Manage incoming calls, transferring them as necessary and taking accurate messages.
Maintain an organized and tidy reception area.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Provide accurate information via phone, email, or in person.
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for various departments.
Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and filing.
Manage office supplies inventory and reorder as needed.
Requirements
Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Multitasking Experience: Proven experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Administrative Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in an administrative role.
Microsoft Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Language Proficiency: Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
