• Full Time

*POSITION QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS: *

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).
• Accreditation: Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or equivalent from a school in the United States or Canada. This degree must have been accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association; Association of American Medical Colleges: Liaison Committee on Medical Education; Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained. For foreign medical graduates facility officials must verify with the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) that the applicant has met the requirements for certification, and must obtain a copy of the ECFMG certificate.
• Internship/Residency: Successful completion of residency program through one of the following:
  • The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education
  • The Committee on Postdoctoral Training of the American Osteopathic Association.
• Board Certification: Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Continuing Medical Education (CME): Provide copy of current CME
• Cardiac Certifications: Must have the following hands-on certification through the American Heart Association
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• License: Current license to practice medicine in any state, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia).
• NPI: Shall have appropriate NPI
• DEA: Contractor shall provide a copy of current DEA certificate.

``` - English Language Requirement: Shall be able to read, write, speak and understand English well enough to effectively communicate with all patients and other health care providers. - Physical Capability: Shall be physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required under the contract . - Training: Electronic Health Record educational trainings completed annually - Liability Insurance: The Federal Tort Claims Act does not cover Contractor or Contractors physician(s). When a Contractor or Contractors physician(s) has been identified as a provider in a tort claim, the Contractor shall be responsible for notifying their legal counsel and/or insurance carrier.
