Roles & Responsibilities:
Test Setup - Read specifications from technical documents (Test Standards, Customer SOWs, and Test Plans/Procedures), identify/prepare test equipment
Perform Testing - Monitor tests per specifications, interact with customers if needed, troubleshoot, and document all pertinent data
Data Processing - After test completion, verify, review and document all pertinent data and finalize data for review
Lab Maintenance / Post-Test Breakdown - Physically remove test items. Maintain lab by cleaning all equipment, keeping calibrated instruments current, & organizing supplies
Other - Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Under General Supervision, can perform certain recurring work independently
Intermediate interpretation and analysis of test results
Comprehensive knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical principles, working knowledge of basic safety practices; working knowledge of Aerospace Electrical systems
Able to use all standard Environmental equipment
Able to accurately capture necessary data
Able to understand AC/DC circuits
MS Office skills
5 + years relevant testing experience
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Mostly On-Site Shop Environment
Substantial amounts of computer work.
Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks with overtime as needed
Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
