Job Description: Project Engineer
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Engineer responsible for process documentation, standards, quality improvements, and cost reductions. The role will involve spending time equally between the office and the manufacturing floor, leading process improvements, and supporting product development.
Responsibilities
Lead process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Support product development and assist with prototype development.
Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.
Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs.
Document processes and maintain standards for quality improvements.
Any CMM experience is considered a plus.
Essential Skills
Experience in process documentation and cost reduction.
Proficiency in 3D CAD, specifically Solidworks and AutoCAD.
3-10 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working on the manufacturing floor.
Exposure to CNC Milling machines.
Familiarity with PPAP processes and procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
BS Degree highly preferred.
Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.
Strong team player with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
