Job Summary
Belcan is seeking a full-time Digital Manufacturing Engineer to work onsite at a customer location in Rockford, IL. This role is embedded within the manufacturing group and focuses on delivering digital solutions to integrate various manufacturing processes. Expertise in Ignition MES software is highly desired, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Job Duties
Design, implement, and optimize digital manufacturing processes and systems.
Develop and maintain digital dashboards and reporting tools for real-time monitoring and decision-making.
Provide technical support and training to office and shop floor employees on digital tools and systems.
Create and maintain standard work documentation and execution procedures for various tools and processes.
Required Qualifications
Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Proven experience in leading change implementation and managing stakeholder buy-in.
Exposure in IT/data systems and integration.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to design and implement robust processes.
Proficiency with Ignition MES software.
Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Background in manufacturing/operations and MES/ERP systems.
Experience with SQL, Python, APIs, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $75,000-95,000 yearly.
