Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Rockford, Illinois. In this role, you will be part of a fast-paced work environment, where your primary duties will involve maintaining accurate customer credit records, processing customer credit applications, and resolving credit-related inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications.

• Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure accuracy.

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Monitor customer credit accounts to identify delinquent payments and take appropriate action to collect them.

• Perform data entry tasks related to billing, invoices, and payment processing.

• Leverage basic Excel skills for data management and analysis.

• Exhibit problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues that may arise.

• Display flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operation of the department.

• Engage in cash applications as part of the account management process. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in Billing Collection.

• Skilled in Data Entry.

• Able to Enter Invoices accurately and efficiently.

• Knowledge of Billing procedures and practices.

• Familiarity with Cash Applications.

• Experience in Payment Processing.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting sensitive data.

• High level of accuracy and efficiency.

• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving skills.
