Onsite/Remote:Remote Position

This position is eligible for remote work at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

As an Inside Sales Representative for John Deere All Makes located in Rock Valley, IA, you will.

  • Daily calls to customers in your assigned territory to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Quotes and sells parts according to customer needs

  • Provides advice to customers on their future needs and promotes new parts, components, and special programs

  • Informs customers on company policies/procedures relating to freight, returns, warranty, pricing along with systems training on B2B.

What Skills You Need

  • 2 or more years of Sales experience in the automotive, agricultural or heavy equipment industry

  • 2 or more years Selling directly to an end-user customer in retail environment

  • 4 or more years of Internal or external industry specific experience or relevant discipline

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Successful negotiating and selling skills

  • Knowledge of agricultural parts

  • Expertise in customer relationship management

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Degree in Business/Management or Marketing discipline or equivalent work experience
