If you are an accomplished manufacturing champion who thrives in a highly innovative, emergent technology environment where you can own and execute on production deliverables, this is the position for you! What You Will Need * Plans, directs, and supervises printer manufacturing * Supervises the activities of production personnel engaged in all facets of the manufacturing function * Reviews production and inventory requirements, and allocates staff to appropriate areas to ensure priority is assigned to printers and spare parts needed for inventory and timely customer shipments * Orients, instructs, trains and supervises printer manufacturing personnel * Cross trains personnel in all areas of maximum flexibility in production * Requisitions the purchase of supplies and equipment for use in department activities * Responsible for the care, maintenance and repair of printer manufacturing equipment and coordinates equipment repairs and maintenance. * Able to perform activities of workers supervised * Ensures work areas are kept clean and orderly and all safety rules are followed * Assist in the training of new manufacturing associates * Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals * A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected Education and Training * High School Diploma * Higher education is a plus Experience * Excellent interpersonal and communication and supervisory skills * Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form * Capable of working effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines with multiple interruptions * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals * Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals _Why 3D Systems?_ Make a meaningful difference Founded in 1986, we are the original pioneers of 3D printing.
