The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
Provides psychological services to members in the University through counseling and psychotherapy, teaching, training, consulting and research.Schedule 11AM-7PM; HOURS WILL VARY Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: Actively provide clinical expertise, administration, and supervision of Mt. Hope Family Center's Therapeutic After School Program and Summer Camp.á Interfaces with Directors and research coordinators to carry out sound and valid research collection in both programs.á Initiate funding opportunities in ongoing efforts to further develop and improve both programs.á Effectively and enthusiastically demonstrate and communicate the mission and vision of Mt. Hope Family Center to the employees in the program, the University of Rochester, and the community as a whole.á Demonstrates insight and experience working with school age, at-risk children and their families.á Exhibits willingness and ability to foster an environment in the therapeutic programs in which research will be completed.á Hires, trains, and supervises staff members.á Manages both programs with the ability to attend to detail.á Has a vision for, and takes initiative to further develop both programs.á Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, diplomatic, and writing skills.á REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in the mental health field, such as social work or psychology; at least two years of professional work experience.
