Position Summary
Plug Power Inc. is actively seeking a highly motivated student to join our team. The student will be responsible for assisting the Manufacturing Execution Systems Team in a wide variety of initiatives and projects in support of your academic studies and interests. Learning Objectives
- Gain experience interfacing with the business to understand their processes and document their requirements for new development
- Practice developing custom applications to meet your customers' needs
- Develop an understanding of the iterative software development process
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect requirements from stakeholders
- Generate requirement documentation
- Build applications within our Manufacturing Execution System
- Test the application
- Validate applications built by your peers
- Coordinate the deployment of applications in production
Education and Qualification
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science, Master's or PhD degree in Software Engineering or a related program
- Must have reliable transportation to the office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess solid hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
- Excellent follow-through
- Must be driven and self-motivated
Estimated Base Salary Range:
