Paychex Service Associate - Insurance Services, P&C (Part Time) in Rochester, New York

Overview

Under a significant level of guidance and direction, provides customer service for Paychex Property & Casualty clients. Responsible for daily processing / data entry / validation of records and maintenance of new and existing insurance accounts. Maintain a high level knowledge of the products and services supported by Paychex Insurance Agency, Inc. Provide customer service and support to both internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

  • Performs data entry of confidential client information and is responsible for the security of this information as files are loaded into Paychex systems.

  • Responsible for meeting department quality and productivity standards relative to data input and established timelines.Maintains required documents and records to ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal insurance regulations.

  • Provides necessary documentation to states and federal insurance agencies as well as our insurance partners as required.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of the Workers’ Compensation Payment Service Agreement and ensures clients are meeting their obligations

  • Uses systems and software packages, which may include HRIS, Salesforce, Flex, Core Advanced, and ORSPerforms data input, maintaining strong prioritization and organization

  • Documents all interactions

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree - Preferred

  • 1 year of customer service experience

  • Experience in the insurance industry is preferred

  • work schedule: 18 hours per week (Mon - Fri between 8am - 5pm)

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $16-$20/hr. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
