Mindex Product Owner - Advanced Analytics - Remote (Req. #669) in Rochester, New York
Mindex is looking for a highly motivated Product Owner for our Advanced Analytics platform who is passionate about making data accessible, actionable, and transformative. As a Product Owner for the Advanced Analytics platform, you will be responsible for driving the vision that powers smarter decisions in the K-12 education sector and beyond. This role is an ideal fit for a strategic thinker who thrives in the big picture but also possesses the ability to dive in and capture the details that bring ideas to life. You’ll work hand-in-hand with engineering teams to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions and identify growth opportunities to expand the platform’s impact across diverse business sectors.
Requirements
· Works with the Product Director to translate high-level company vision and strategy into actionable product plans.
· Works with the Customer to analyze user needs, identify improvements, their priority and value, and documents them as epics containing high-level features, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
· Works with their Engineering team and User Experience to break epics down into plannable features and user stories and acts as the Customer SME/Advocate providing continuous feedback throughout the development process.
· Approves work done, tracks progress toward completion of Epics and larger strategic goals (or OKRs), and collaborates with documentation, training, support, and marketing to prepare customer communications and support ahead of release.
· Where appropriate, facilitates user acceptance testing and/or feedback demonstrations of work prior to release, collates and assesses feedback, and reshapes team priorities as needed to maximize value for the customer.
· Acts as a SME in support of service, sales, and marketing for general Q&A, represents Mindex externally at User Groups and Conferences, presenting as needed on recently released features and running focus groups to gather feedback.
· Actively facilitates and participates in team retrospectives and the continuous improvements of our organizational structure, processes, and tooling to drive greater operational efficiency and value for our customers.

The band range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, education, experience, training, certifications, internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at, or near, the top of the range for their role; and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range for this role is $90,000 - $140,000.
