Robert Half PIA P&C Specialist I - New Business Operations (Tier II) in Rochester, New York

Description We are seeking a PIA P& C Specialist I - New Business Operations (Tier II) to join our team in Rochester, New York. In this role, you will be tasked with the daily processing, data entry, and validation of records pertaining to new and existing insurance accounts. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity that requires high-level knowledge of the products and services within the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Securely process and maintain confidential client information through data entry into our systems

• Initiate new account setup and process all documentation related to the setup and maintenance of new or existing accounts for various insurance lines

• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal insurance regulations by maintaining required documents and records

• Provide necessary documentation to states, federal insurance agencies, and our insurance partners as required

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of clients' financial and insurance transactions to maintain client satisfaction

• Respond to inbound inquiry calls or emails, place outbound calls or emails to clients, insurance partners, and other offices as required by the business unit in order to complete new account setup

• Research and resolve product and service-related issues from clients and internal and external partners to ensure client satisfaction

• Maintain accurate recording of all internal and external communications used for the accurate and timely setup, service, and maintenance of new or existing insurance accounts

• Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients and internal and external partners to ensure client satisfaction

• Utilize multiple computer software applications in conjunction with carrier and bureau websites to perform job duties and ensure the proper setup of new insurance policies and to respond to all client inquiries.

Please note that this role requires a high level of customer service, communication, data entry, and documentation skills. Knowledge of payroll, quality, database, email correspondence, inbound and outbound calls, insurance, finance, workstation support, security, websites, perform ad hoc financial, Microsoft Access, regulation, partners, client relations, Microsoft Office Suites, prioritization, ensure compliance, agreement, timeline, and business unit skills are essential for this role. Requirements • The applicant must have experience in customer service and be adept at both written and verbal communication.

• Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate documentation is a must.

• Previous experience in handling payroll and understanding of quality control measures is required.

• Familiarity with database management and email correspondence is necessary.

• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls is critical.

• Knowledge of insurance and finance sectors is expected.

• The ability to provide workstation support and maintain security protocols is required.

• Familiarity with website navigation and usage is essential.

• The candidate should be able to perform ad hoc financial tasks as and when required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Access and other Microsoft Office Suites is a necessity.

• Understanding of regulations and the ability to work with partners and maintain client relations is required.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, ensure compliance, and work within agreed timelines is crucial.

• The candidate should be able to work harmoniously with different business units.
