Rochester Regional Health Outpatient Addiction Physician in Rochester, New York
Description
The Rochester Regional Health Division of Chemical Dependency is seeking a full-time, board certified physician to join our Outpatient Addiction Medicine team. Our Outpatient services provide comprehensive care for our patients that are dealing with various substance use disorders. We offer Outpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services, MAT- only, and Ambulatory withdrawal management services. You will be part of a supportive team where providers meet weekly to discuss case reviews and innovations in Addiction Medicine.

STATUS: 1.0 FTE
LOCATION: Rochester, NY
DEPARTMENT: Behavioral Health
QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct initial and follow up assessments for patients dealing with substance use disorder (SUD).
- Develop individualized treatment options for patients in our outpatient program.
- Provide Medication - Assisted Treatment (MAT) including Buprenorphine/Naloxone, Naltrexone, and other ancillary medications.
- Work in a multidisciplinary team of nurses and therapists to reach the patient's treatment goals.
- Provide physician input and leadership in one of our outpatient clinics in Monroe County.
- Provide care in accordance with the NYS Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) regulations.
- Have an unrestricted License to Practice Medicine (MD/DO) in the State of New York.
- Have a DEA license.
- BE/BC in Addiction Medicine by ABPM is required.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
In addition to the base pay range, certain provider positions may be eligible for variable compensation in accordance with health system pay practices. This may include: productivity and/or value-based clinical incentives, bonus compensation, or other forms of variable pay.
Compensation will be prorated with an FTE below 1.0.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
