SUMMARY

As a Materials Coordinator, your management skills and demonstrated ability to multitask allow you to efficiently assess and maintain stock levels within your area of responsibility.

STATUS: FULL TIME

LOCATION: ROCHESTER GENERAL HOSPITAL

DEPARTMENT: EMERGENCY SERVICES

SCHEDULE: DAYS - 8AM - 430PM

ATTRIBUTES
  • Associate degree required
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, computer and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and management skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Stock Management. Receive, order, fill and deliver completed stock orders; maintain assigned stock rooms; place vendor orders, call and direct orders, assure contract compliance and appropriate stock levels; coordinate recalls for assigned stock within the organization and ensure areas are free of expired/outdated stock
  • System Management. Maintain borrow and loan system; coordinate record storage and retrieval; maintain assigned stock system; price all floor stock and departmental stock requisitions and sums prices
  • Documentation. Document receipts, errors, shorts, recalls and damaged goods on the invoice or requisition; document and report stock shortages and outages as they occur
EDUCATION:
  • AA (Required)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: H - Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires constant walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE: $18.00 - $23.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
