If you are looking to craft the digital future of a global conglomerate, then we have a superb opportunity for you! We are looking for a highly motivated and hardworking Digital Leader for our global Electronic Access businesses to modernize the enterprise (IT) landscape as well as drive high priority external-facing digital growth initiatives. This is a leadership role, owning the overall technical aspects of enterprise modernization & external facing solutions including but not limited to ideation, feasibility, design & architecture, DevOps, security, scaling, and continuous delivery. The ideal candidate would have successfully led Digital transformation programs for diverse & global businesses while having worked closely with Commercial and Digital Product Managers, Business and Digital Management, Engineering and Operations teams.

Core responsibilities include:

Develop a digital strategy for a global Electronic Access & Intrusion business aligned to Fire & Security’s Digital Strategy with a focus on growth. Provide vision and define a roadmap for enterprise landscape modernization and growth initiatives. Partner with business unit leadership, digital, engineering, service, and product management leaders to develop and drive digital revenue and efficiency opportunities. Analyze and benchmark industry digital models to develop and implement the transformation to a comprehensive, competitive digital model. Use market, industry, regional, consumer, and customer data and insights to identify the best opportunities for the development of the businesses globally. Develop digital service initiatives with areas and countries to differentiate Industrial Fire & Water Mist offerings with outstanding customer value. Collaborate across FSP organization to understand current digital maturity, ensure strategic alignment, and execute on priorities for future growth. Plan and Execute objectives, both long-range and short-range, which have an impact on the growth in sales and margin for the businesses. Build capabilities, skills, and upgrade talent pipeline for digital in the businesses to ensure consistency of service experience as well as preservation and transfer of knowledge. Develop vision and architecture for enabling technology, systems, and tools to support the acceleration of the digital backbone and infrastructure. Work in a coordinated fashion with Services / Aftermarket team to drive digital service revenue on existing asset base and transform the same into a connected installed base.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of successfully managing sophisticated technical application landscapes with highly distributed & disparate systems.

  • Successfully led impactful digital transformation initiatives using the modern framework of agile delivery, cloud orchestration, edge computing & data/process automation.

  • Understand business' applications portfolio, digital maturity, growth priorities, and success measures to craft a modernization roadmap and deliver digital solutions through PaaS/IaaS/SaaSmodels.

  • Drive improvements & solutions to meet internal and external customer needs, ensuring technical viability of new initiatives and successful deployments, while infusing proven technologies & tools (Cloud, edge, AI, ERPs, Salesforce, etc.)

  • Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures including architecture, migrations, program, and technology management.

  • Understand business’ overall data estate including sources, quality, storage, processing, and consumption across digital and business priorities.

  • Bring personal leadership and expertise to build a roadmap, prioritize, consult, and articulate the modernization of the IT landscape while simultaneously foster digital growth through new initiatives around digital solutions, services, and platforms.

  • Drive innovation by infusing confirmed and new technologies in the portfolio benefiting operations, sales, customer intimacy, and user experience.

  • Use data for decisions on rationalization, prioritization, technology selection, and engagement.

  • Acts as the authority for running Enterprise workloads on AWS, and enable migration/deployments of legacy applications to the cloud, and provide appropriate recommendations to overcome blockers

Other Skills:

  • Relationship Building: The proven track record of building positive relationships with Digital and Business management across product lines. Experience in managing various partner relationships to get a consensus on solutions/initiatives.

  • Problem Solving: Ability to solve problems using analytical thinking, balancing viewpoints, evaluating technologies, and demonstrating key relationships.

  • Communication: Recognized for articulating the digital vision, solving challenges, and ensuring follow through with outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, Digital management, Functional leaders as well as DevOps teams).

Education & Certification:

Master's degree from a world-class school in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

Certification preferred in one of the following technologies: Cloud, IoT, mobile and/or web application development.

Travel:

You will be required to travel as is determined by the needs of our businesses. This position may require travel to business sites up to 40% of the time.
