As a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist, you'll provide clinical pharmacy services in a professional and competent manner to assure rational and appropriate drug therapy to the patients within our Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infectious Disease Programs
STATUS: Full Time, 40 hours
LOCATION: Rochester General Hospital
DEPARTMENT: Pharmacy | Infectious Disease
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, days. Every 8th weekend coverage
ATTRIBUTES
- Completion of residency OR fellowship training OR board certification through the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties. The employee may be working towards board certification as part of a timeline mutually agreed upon by the employee and supervisor
- Licensure as a Pharmacist in New York State required
- Possess a broad scope and depth of infectious disease knowledge, clinical skills and function well on multidisciplinary teams
- Extensive experience as Infectious Disease or Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist
- Advanced understanding of hospital pharmacy
- Medication Management. Provides pharmacotherapy expertise in antimicrobial medications to optimize patient care
- Training. Provide didactic and experiential training for Pharmacy Students, Pharmacy Residents, and other health care providers
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration. Work in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams across the health system.
- BS: Pharmacy (Required)
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- LPharm - Licensed Pharmacist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
