As a Clinical Pharmacist, your outstanding pharmaceutical knowledge paired with your ability to manage staff and liaise with medical providers leads to optimal patient care.
STATUS: Full Time, 40 Hours
LOCATION: Rochester General Hospital
DEPARTMENT: Inpatient Pharmacy
SCHEDULE: Evenings, 1:30pm-Midnght; 4 days on, 4 off
ATTRIBUTES
- Licensure as a Pharmacist in New York State required
- Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy required
- 4 years of pharmacy practice experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills with an excellent attention to detail
- Pharmaceutical Management. Provide specialized pharmaceutical services to improve drug usage and therapeutic outcomes; advise providers on issues concerning drug therapy, side effects and dose management
- Leadership & Relationship Development. Mentor/supervise pharmacists in training; coordinate the activities of assigned pharmacy technicians; maintain liaison relationship with medical and nursing staff
- Evaluation. Conduct and evaluate medication histories, assess compliance and suggest modifications
- BS: Pharmacy (Required)
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- LPharm - Licensed Pharmacist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
