SUMMARY
As an Administrative Coordinator, you are key in the oversight, organization and management of your assigned department. Your strong attention to detail assures that requirements are met and daily processes are maintained efficiently and accurately.
STATUS: Full Time
LOCATION: Unity Hospital
DEPARTMENT: Social Work
SCHEDULE: Weekdays 8am-4:30pm, flexibility required
ATTRIBUTES
- Associate's degree preferred.
- Experience working in a healthcare administrative office preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
- One year of experience with frail and elderly population preferred.
- Daily Management. Collaborates and acts as a liaison with third party insurance companies to obtain insurance authorizations. Schedules and reserves space for meetings, events and in-services. Submit work orders and service requests as needed. Schedules and obtains third party insurance approval for discharge transportation. Maintains log for bus pass distribution and reimbursement.
- Departmental Support. Assists with special projects including data collection, compilation, and analysis as defined by management. Provides ongoing administrative support to Care Management and Social Work as required. Assists Care Management/Social work in scheduling follow up PCP visits for discharging patients. Process mail, send faxes, make copies
PAY RANGE: $18.25 - $25.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
