Description
Hannah Savage with Robert Half is in the process of hiring an Account Specialist for her client located in ROCHESTER, New York. The opportunity involves managing customer accounts, and ensuring accurate and efficient processing of various financial transactions. Accounts receivable, cash management, reconciliations, collections - all crucial functions of the role. The role is an integral part of this team, providing support in maintaining client relationships and ensuring smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the management of accounts receivable
• Handle banking transactions including check deposits.
• Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Process payments in a timely and precise manner.
• Maintaining customer relationships
• Post checks to the relevant customer accounts as required.
• Address and resolve invoice issues effectively.
• Occasionally handle collection duties.
• Assist in month-end financial procedures.
• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, and Invoice Processing to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, and Invoice Processing.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
