Description
We are currently seeking a HR/Benefit & Payroll Administrator to join our team in the manufacturing industry based in Rochester, New Hampshire. In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll functions, maintaining accurate records, and handling benefits administration. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and manage payroll information by collating, calculating, and entering data updates
• Utilize accounting software systems to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, benefits information, and other deductions
• Handle the administration of the electronic timekeeping system, including setup of new hires, terminations, and employee changes
• Resolve payroll discrepancies through information collection and analysis
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
• Leverage ADP Workforce Now for streamlining payroll and benefits processes
• Manage accounting functions related to payroll and employee benefits
• Utilize SAP for various payroll-related tasks
• Communicate with employees regarding changes in salary, benefits, etc.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is a must.
• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary.
• Ability to handle Benefit Functions effectively.
• Experience in Benefits Administration is required.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• Experience with ADP - Payroll is beneficial.
• Competency in handling Benefits Payroll is necessary.
