Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Finance Manager near Rochester, New Hampshire. As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity within our organization, focusing on auditing, budget processes, and effective use of the MUNIS ERP system.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee auditing processes to ensure financial compliance and integrity.
• Manage and optimize budget processes to maximize financial efficiency.
• Utilize Munis for efficient financial management and reporting.
• Generate ad hoc reports using Reporting with Munis, demonstrating proficiency in the system.
• Act as a Munis expert within the organization, providing guidance and support to other team members
Requirements • Demonstrates strong auditing skills, with the ability to oversee and manage comprehensive internal audits
• Proficient in budget processes, with the capacity to develop, implement, and monitor budget plans
• Familiarity with Tyler Technologies Munis, demonstrating the ability to use this software for financial management effectively
• Expertise in Ad Hoc Reporting, with the capability to create custom reports as per the company's needs
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a managerial position
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to solve complex financial issues
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation
• Certification such as CFA/CPA is preferred.
