About the role

Our Rochester, MN location is part of our Applied Health and Nutrition Division and specializes in fermented ingredients for products related to the bio-science industry. Our team is proud of the work they do and have a focus on clean label or natural products ensuring freshness.

The warehouse support position is responsible for assisting with inventory control of all materials to support the Rochester Facility. The position reports to the Team Leader/Warehouse supervisor.

Key responsibilities

  • Material Handling equipment - Must be trained and certified on all material handling equipment needed for daily work assignment which include both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.

  • Unload, inspect and receive in materials and packaging following Kerry standards and procedures.

  • Adhere to Kerry standards for storage of materials to include proper storage of allergens and organic ingredients.

  • Must be able to unload raw materials and stages for production in a timely manner to maintain an efficient workflow.

  • Properly documents conditions on all inspection forms and paperwork.

  • Report food safety and quality concerns,

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and skills

What you'll need to be successful and safe:

  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions.

  • Have basic math skills.

  • Ability to operate forklift and pallet movers.

  • Ability to lift 50lbs and the ability to kneel, bend over, squat, stoop, and carry.

  • Ability to work in a -40 freezer

  • Ability to work in warm and dusty environment.

    Education/and or Experience:

  • High School graduate or equivalent required

  • Excellent attention to detail, neatness, and follow through with tasks.

  • Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks.
