CTG Senior Software Engineer in Rochester, Minnesota

CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Software Engineer opening for a client in Rochester, Minnesota.

Location : Rochester, MN

Duration : 12 months

CTG's client is seeking an Android Senior Software Engineer. Candidates will have an opportunity to work in a fast paced environment, leverage new technologies, and be part of a digital transformation that is currently underway.

Required skills:

  • 5+ years of professional experience developing Native Android Mobile applications

  • Demonstrated proficiency using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose and Android UI design principles

  • Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and other development tools

  • Experience integrating third-party SDK's and libraries

  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs

  • Experience with the MVVM architecture and Design patterns

  • Experience with Git and CI/CD processes

  • Experience publishing Android apps to the Google Play store

  • Experience with TDD programming and working in Agile development environment

Preferred skills:

  • Experience with GraphQL

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager

  • Experience in the healthcare industry

Candidates will also possess the following skills and experiences:

  • Self-directed, successfully removes barriers, and drives tasks towards resolution

  • Effectively communicates (both written and orally) with technical and non-technical colleagues

  • Understands roles and responsibilities of team members within the Scrum framework

  • Willing to learn new technologies

  • Team oriented
