Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual who will be responsible for operating a retread machine. The role involves placing the tire on a stand, securing it, finding the correct tread, placing it on the machine, and initiating the retreading process. After the tread is spun onto the tire, you will staple the tire and transfer it to the oven. Additionally, you will perform buffing to smooth the tire before the retreading process.
Responsibilities
Operate the retread machine efficiently and safely.
Secure tires on the stand and ensure proper placement.
Identify and place the correct tread on the machine.
Initiate the retreading process and monitor the machine.
Staple the tire after the tread is spun on.
Transfer the retreaded tire to the oven.
Buff and smooth tires before retreading.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in machine operating.
Ability to remain standing for the duration of the shift.
Capability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly.
Strong attendance record with a proven 9-month attendance within the past 2 years.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse distribution, assembly, lube tech, production, and general labor.
