ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Installation/general maintenance of HVAC and/or Refrigeration equipment Diagnose and repair problems Provide service in a variety of commercial settings MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have Technical Schooling Degree or Equivalent Experience EPA Certification for handling Refrigeration Must have a PLT license or be Registered with the state as a Registered Unlicensed PLT or apply for your Registered Unlicensed PLT within 90 days of your start date. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with a neat and clean appearance. Ability to lift up to 100lbs as necessary and up to 50lbs repetitively. Ability to climb up and down a ladder carrying tools, equipment, and/or parts in a safe manner. Ability to work efficiently given time constraints, extreme weather conditions, varying customer needs and demands, and back-log constraint. Experience, knowledge, and proven skills in accurately diagnosing and efficiently accomplishing a job to the mutual benefit of the customer and the organization. Valid drivers license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle. Mechanical ability and excellent problem solving skills Ability to work independently and without direct supervision After hours/on-call service availability Ability to communicate effectively Proficient in use of computer programs and technology related to the position Interest and initiative in maintaining HVAC and Refrigeration skills through a combination of self-study, workshops, on the job training and other development activities.
