Actalent Construction Engineering Project Manager in Rochester Hills, Michigan

Job Title: Construction Engineering Project ManagerJob Description

We are seeking a Construction Engineering Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in MDOT/LAP Construction Project Management and/or Municipal Construction Improvement Projects, including Road Programs. Typical duties and responsibilities include day-to-day interfacing with project team members, clients, contractors, and others regarding project-related items. You will lead and mentor staff, answer technical project questions and issues presented by staff, monitor budgets and progress with a strong focus on profitability, communicate project details with staff, attend and/or conduct client and project meetings, maintain and obtain MDOT work and/or municipal project work, develop scope of work, estimate fees for new projects, and write proposals for new work. Additionally, you will win new clients through technical expertise and a strong business development approach, and assist with proposals and marketing.

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Rochester Hills, Michigan and some days remote.

Work Environment

Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office, and 2 can be remote. Can work out of any of our local offices, including Rochester Hills, Novi, Detroit, or Lansing. Expected to work 40-45 hours per week.
