ManpowerGroup 2nd shift Part Time - Material Handler in Rochester Hills, Michigan

Monday-Friday 3:00PM-7PM, but am flexible if a resource can only work this shift 3-4 days per week. MANAGER COMMENTS ON THE ROLE: This person will need intermediate computer skills to enter shipping manifest into computer systems and perform basic data entry into excel. This is a material handler role, but will also need to work on computer for entering shipment data. The goal of this position is to train someone in this position and transition them into working full time hours Monday-Friday 3:00PM-10:00PM.

What’s the Job?

Max of 5

  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities

  • unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing orders to sales associates for processing

  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped

  • Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools and other stock items; distribute items to shipping team ·

  • Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic

What’s Needed?

  • To be at least 18 years of age

  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends, due to varying freight volumes

  • Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry

  • Forklift experience in a freight or Less-than-Truckload (LTL) environment ·

  • Experience loading and unloading trailers
