Company Job ID-008149Jack Morton's Princeton team seeks a temporary, seasonal Tour Manager for May-October, 2018. In this role, you'll manage and execute Jack Mortons mobile marketing experience to promote New York State attractions and destinations to consumers at events in the Northeast. You'll act as the onsite lead and working closely with the Jack Morton production team and our client to ensure seamless delivery during the tour duration.New York State residents with experience in the upstate market are preferred but not required (there will be formal training on the state and its assets before the tour starts). LocationIn and around NY StateTimingPre-event training begins the first week of May 2018 and leads into a 5-month tour (end of May to Middle of October), starting on the week leading up to Memorial Day weekend.Hours of operation are TBD may be as much as 6-day work week. Tour manager is expected to be on call at all times, even during days off.Additionally, the Tour Manager will be eligible for per diem, expense reimbursement, and accommodation coverage. Responsibilities Set-Up/Tear Down & Travel:Tour Manager travels in the tour vehicle with the POD and crew throughout New York State and surrounding areas for the entire tour. i.e. dont go home on the weekends.Supervise and participate in setup and tear-down of event sites, need to be able to lift approx. 50lbs.Run through all talking points to ensure messaging is on point.Clean footprint area (sweep, pick up garbage, etc.) if applicable.Make sure all details are taken care of before event begins.Event Execution/Venue Management:Execute events according to the schedule and standards setCommunicate regularly with Jack Morton regarding daily event status and general tour operationsServe as the primary contact for venues and staffMeet and greet consumers upon arrival and answer any questions they may haveActively engage with consumers upon arrival to the footprint area encourage them to engage with the different activations within the pod.Anticipate challenges onsite and implement solutionsStaff Management:Manage and monitor performance of tour staffDelegate responsibilities to the Assistant Tour MangerBook accommodations for team and manage overall accommodations budgetEvent Tracking/Documentation:Timely completion of expense reports/receipts inventory after each eventResponsible for tracking all onsite expenses and submitting expense reports in a timely mannerPerform inventory maintenanceSpearhead safety inspections and adherence to OSHA standardsMobile Management:Manage and oversee tour vehicle maintenance (including regular generator service, tire checks and weekly trailer washing, etc.), security and record-keepingDrive tour vehicleQualifications Previous Tour Manager/Road Show Manager experience requiredMust be properly licensed, qualified and trained to drive with no criminal record and a clean driving record. The Contractor will, at a minimum conduct reviews of driving records to ensure the preceding qualifications are met. The severity of any past traffic violations and/or accidents will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Drivers failing to meet these qualifications may not perform services under this contract.Must consent to criminal background check, drivers license background check, initial and random drug testing.
