What we are looking for:

We are hiring a Production Manager for our manufacturing facility located in Robbinsville NJ . This position is responsible for the efficient use of resources to ensure an effective manufacturing process to meet quality standards and production schedules.

    Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the general safety and health of production employees

  • Establishes and maintains excellent employee relations among all plant personnel

  • Participates and shows a presence at all plant production and management meetings

  • Creates and organizes weekly production schedules to meet demands

  • Plans implements and delegates production line changes to maintain an efficient production flow

  • Ensures and inspects daily production to verify customer and company standards and specifications are being met on all products produced within facility

  • Maintains constant improvement in making quality products reducing costs and following good manufacturing practices (GMP)

  • Participates and supports Global Food Safety Initiatives programs implementation and compliance

  • Manages trains and develops subordinates

    Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Minimum of 5 years related experience

  • Effective supervisor skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to read analyze and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations.

  • Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions and make effective decisions.

  • Knowledge of USDA FDA and BRC regulations preferred.

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply concepts.

  • Basic computer skills and ability to generate and maintain reports.
