QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED BUT NOT LIMITED TO): Knowledge of commercial, industrial and residential electrical systems, NEC, and local codes Ability to solve problems independently Hand and power tools at the journeyman level Composite safety toe shoes Reliable transportation Reside in our service area Valid VA driver's license and a clean driving record Ability to pass a background test Ability to pass a drug test Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
RESPONSIBILITES (REQUIRED BUT NOT LIMITED TO): Running Conduit, MC and Romex, Pulling Wire, Setting Panels, Terminations, Switches, Lighting Fixtures, Cable Trays, Bending Pipe, Underground, Troubleshooting, etc. Read blueprints and wiring schematics Verify compliance and functionality of installations Maintain workflow schedule to ensure productivity objectives are met Coordinate with other trades on site Responsible for keeping and maintaining a clean workspace Ensure that safety is paramount on all job sites Work in all weather conditions Work in restricted or confines areas such as switch-gear rooms, man-holes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, and attics Kneeling, crawling, and crouching for extended periods
