ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The position is primarily responsible for all accounting activities in Saudi Arabia and the related finance and analysis activities. This is an enabler function and critical role within finance. He/she should ensure the highest levels of integrity and accurate accounting practices while effectively supporting the business, finance and commercial team.

Finance and Accounting Responsibilities:

Responsible for all closing accounting activities: G/L, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Inventory, cash and bank, accounting management, management reporting, Opex, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

NATURE AND SCOPE

• Full responsibility managing closing process and accounting transactions for BS and G/L Ledger

• Prepare and load Balance Sheet reconciliation - Black-line submissions

• Shared Service Accounting, OIE expense management, and related accounting records

• Payroll process pay-outs, Accounts Payable and full expenditure cycle

• Fixed Assets and Inventory accounting and warehouse accounting management

• Liabilities and Provisions related calculations, forecasts, and accounting JV bookings

• Financial and Variance analysis and operating expenses (Opex) accounting management (Management Reporting)

• Support Oracle ERP implementation, integration and support related accounting trainings

• OTL compliance and GPRR accounting and management controls

• Support documentation and update of financial policies and procedures

• Manage supplier relationships and related cash flow and forecasting activities

• Bank facilities: Trade Services, facilities and Bank Coordination (L/C and B/G management)

• Other finance Projects implementation and timely response to HQ and Corporate requests

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of commerce – Finance and Accounting

• Must have appropriate SOCPA Membership

• 10+ years accounting and department start-up experience

• Healthcare and Medical background – preferably Diagnostics

• OTL and GPRR process and accounting experience

• Action/Result oriented with strong time-management skills

• Good Critical thinking abilities and strong problem solver

• Advanced Excel skills, word and power-point
